5N – 6D :: Bangalore – Mysore – Ooty

First Day: Bangalore

Pick up from the Airport/Railway Station. Check in to Hotel. Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka, also known as “City of Gardens”. It has beautiful parks, avenues, multiplexes, historical monuments and salubrious climate. Sight-seeing of Bangalore includes Tippu’s palace, Bull Temple, Lal Bagh- 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park, Vidhana Soudha – built in 1954 in granite, this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishweshwaraiah Museum, Utility Building etc. In the evening go for shopping and other activities like dancing, carting etc. Over night stay at Bangalore.

Second Day: Bangalore- Mysore (140 km)

Morning drive to Mysoor, also known as the City of Palaces. Its grand and imposing palaces, majestic temples, gardens, broad shady avenues, fine buildings and a salubrious climate leave an ever-lasting impression on the visitor. Check in to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the temple & the huge Nandi Bull on Chamaundi Hill & then allow sometime for shopping; Mysore is famous for its sandalwood & silk. In the evening visit Brindavan garden lighting show and Krishnarajasagar Dam. Then back to hotel and over night stay at Mysore.

Third Day: In Mysore

In the Morning proceed for full Day sightseeing of Mysoor. Visit Mysoor palace, Mysoor zoo, Srirangapatnam, Channapatna Toys Centre, Ranganathaswamy Temple, Fort, Tippu’s Summer Palace, St.Philomina’s church, Mysore Railway museum and Art Gallery. Over night stay at Mysore.

Fourth Day: Mysore – Ooty (170 kms 3 ½ hrs)

Morning proceed to Ooty, a popular hill station known for its pleasant climate, tea plantations, fruit orchards, cascading waterfalls, sparkling brooks and scenic hills of the Nilgiris. Check in to the resort. Then visit Lake garden, Deer park and Ooty lake for boating. Overnight stay at resort.

Fifth Day: In Ooty

In the morning proceed for full Day sightseeing of Ooty. Visit Botanical Gardens, home to rare trees, shrubs and a wide variety of beautiful flowers flanked by a serene Lotus Pond, Doda Betta, Dolphin’s Nose, Lamb’s Rock, Kodanadu’s View Point, Art Gallery, Klahoti Waterfalls, Catherine Falls, Lalith kale academy and Government Museum. Overnight at Resort.

Sixth Day: Ooty Departure.

5N – 6D :: Bangalore – Nagarhole – Bandipur – Munnar

First Day: Bangalore – Nagarhole (240km/5hrs)

Morning travel to Nagarhole and check in to the resort. You can go for a Coracle Ride (round native boat) on Kabini river. In the afternoon, visit Nagerhole sanctuary. Enjoy an elephant / jeep safari in the jungle that will acquaint you closely with the flora and fauna of Nagarhole. The other highlights include activities like camping, bonfire and nature walk. Overnight stay will be at the wildlife resort.

Second Day: Nagarhole – Bandipur National Park

Morning, drive to Bandipur National Park, located on the Mysore-Ooty road. Endowed with a moderate climate and has wide stretches of grasslands and scrub forests, the park supports a remarkable variety of flora and fauna, making it a veritable paradise for wildlife. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon, visit the wildlife sanctuary in jeeps. During the jungle safari in the park, you will spot various wild animals. Overnight at the hotel.

Third Day: In Bandipur National Park

Morning proceed for Bandipur National Park wildlife safari .One of the best ways to experience the jungle is to take a ride on elephant back, or try a night vigil in a watchtower and have a clear view above the tree cover. Boats and angling facilities are also available inside the park. Overnight at the hotel.

Fourth Day: Bandipur National Park – Munnar

After an early breakfast proceed to Munnar, located at the Idukki district. On your way enjoy beautiful streams, small waterfalls, rubber, pepper, cardamom and tea plantations and thick forests. Check in to your resort by noon. In the evening visit the Raja Mala the highest peak in Munnar, the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Panther, Sambhar etc. Stay overnight at the hotel in Munnar

Fifth Day: In Munnar

Morning proceed on a drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar. Enjoy the day visiting Top station, Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Echo point, Devikulam, Old Munnar Town, Christ Church, Kundala dam, Tata tea museum, tea and coffee plantations, the town market where you can go for spice shopping etc.. Enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.

Sixth Day: Munnar – Cochin

Morning proceed to Cochin. On arrival transfer to the international airport/ Railway station.
